Degradation
~
We still live in a world of degradation and segregation
Its a abomination
When a black man still cant walk down the street
All because of the color of his skin
We thought that times had changed we was past the pain
But its all still plain
That times may have changed but mens hearts have not
What kind of world do we live in
When a man is judged by the color of his skin
Or the job he is in you cant win the race were in
It all seems a childrens game and whos to blame
Its all so mundane its always the same
Why cant a world that can send a man to the moon
And find cures for disease
Find a cure for the stupidity in mens hearts
You see it every day a man will say the words that stay
In a mans heart
I sometime think it would have been better to be born blind
Than to live in a world were color means something
This is just one mans point of view its nothing new
We are the few that doesnt close our eyes
To the things going on in this world
If more would speak out let there voice shout
And not stick our head in the sand
so we dont see what is going on
My voice may not make a difference
But it will not be quieted by any man
