How do I hide the pain inside
Its tearing me apart
The love I feel is now ripping apart
My very soul.
The love we shared was beyond compare
I gave to you heart and soul
I have loved you so completely
That there is nothing left inside.
my heart has been ripped out
it no longer beats the beat of love
the beat that once
consumed my every thought
the tears now fall like rain
from the sky
each drop is a piece of my heart
breaking off
the pain at times is so unbearable
each beat of it causes more pain
each thought of you brings more tears to my eyes
my soul is so lost
but for now I put it all in the back
I go on with a charade of what once was
hoping beyond hope
that it will all come back again
that it will return to what once was
that beat in our hearts so loud
that the pieces of my heart will once again beat for you
