Reflections in the mirror
What is it that I see
Is it the image that I portray
For all the world to see

The magic in the mirror
Shows the man inside
All my inner demons
Where hate and love abide
.
I stare at my reflection
Making everything just right
Pushing back the inner me
So the world won't see the blight
.
With a woman on my arm
To complete this old charade
To cover up the man in me
Who has long since decayed
.
But the magic in the mirror
Shows me who I am
The one aching for release
And stop this foolish sham
