Soldier Dad

He looks in her eyes
As a tear starts to fall
Please don’t go daddy
Is the words that she calls

He bends down and holds her
Close to his chest
And thanks god above
For being so blessed

He says ill be home soon
I will count the days
We will go to the park
Were we'll run and will play

He looks to her mother
As the tears starts to fall
I have to go now
Its my countries call

You know I will always be here
Deep inside your heart
Remember me always
While we are apart

He walks to the plane
And turn back to wave
Asking god please protect them
While I am away.
